Going someplace new can always be a bit intimidting, especially a new church where you don't know what to expect. We hope this will give you an idea of what Bellewood is like to help you feel comfortable on first time here.
WHERE WE MEET: Our new(ish) building at 445 Church Street in North Syracuse. For directions, CLICK HERE
If you want to join us for Bible Study, we begin at 9:45am. There are classes for all people and every age group. You are always welcome.
If you want to join us for our Worship Celebration, we begin at 11am.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK: There is a full size parking lot behind the building. It also leads right to our main doors where you will enter.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN: Children are welcome in all of our services. If you choose, childcare is available for children four years old and younger during our Worship Celebration. During the second half of our Worship Celebration, children between five and 10 years old are welcome to join in our Kid's Worship in which they will have a time of learning and worship crafted just for them.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR: What you feel comfortable in. You can expect to see people of all ages wearing jeans, casual shirts, shorts, and some even wear ties. There's no need to feel nervous about what to wear at Bellewood. Dress casually and feel comfortable as you enjoy the Worship Celebration.
WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE LIKE: Bellewood is an upbeat church that mixes both old and new in our worship. We are a mixture of all kinds of people with all kinds of different tastes. We worship using songs written 400 years ago to songs written in the last few years. We pray ancient prayers and tell God what is on our hearts at the moment. We read the Bible written thousands of years ago and listen to messages that help us apply it to life today.
WILL I BE SINGLED OUT AS A GUEST: We won't do anything to call attention to you or embarrass you. During our greeting time, a few folks will come by, shake your hand, and warmly welcome you to Bellewood.
WHAT ABOUT AFTER SERVICE: After our Worship Celebration every Sunday we serve refreshments and catch up with each other. (And hopefully get to meet you.)
